Yelling from your phone

To yell from your phone, text your message to the LittleYell short code 90909. A short code is simply a very short phone number. LittleYell's is really easy to remember and to type from your phone, but we recommend that you add it to your contact list so you can see that incoming messages are from LittleYell.

Start your message with the @ symbol followed by a group or user name (or just @ to Yell to your microblog). You can start your Yells with as many groups as necessary. Below are some examples of Yells you might text to 90909.

• @leefam Where are you all? Dinner's ready!
• @ I'm in New York on Broadway seeing a great show.
• @fredsfriends @ Riding my Harley in Sturges.
• @bill @karen @fred Where are you guys?

LittleYell is smart and will send only one copy of a Yell even if someone is in two or more groups you specify. If you start your Yell with "@fredsfriends @rolexriders @bill" and Bill is in "fredsfriends" and "rolexriders", he'll still get the Yell only once.

Remember that sending a Yell by mobile text does not necessarily mean that the Yell will be delivered by mobile text. The user or group member may have elected to receive the Yell by email or not receive Yells at all.
