Global preferences

There are two global preferences you can use to tune how you receive Yells and invitations. You'll find them by clicking on our user name on the menu bar and then Device.

User Yell Preference

When your receive a Yell directly from another user (rather than from a group), this preference is used to determine how it will be delivered. If you choose, No preference (the default setting) the sender can decide the best way to deliver your Yell. If you chose a specific setting, your Yells will always be delivered the way you specify.

Invite Preference

Invitations to join groups and follow microblogs will be delivered according to the Invite Preference. If you don't specify a preference, you'll receive them by both email and mobile text message (provided both are activated).
