We step you through the process of creating a group. The hardest decision you'll have to make is what to call it.

Choosing a Group Name and Title
Your group name is a short name that's used when you communicate with your group. It needs to be at least four characters long and can't be longer than sixteen characters. Only numbers and letters are allowed. Your group name must be unique, so be creative!
Folks will use your group name to Yell from their mobile phones (e.g. "@groupname hey guys, the market is really bearrish today") and to send Yells from email (address email to groupname@littleyell.com).
Your group title can be much longer and more descriptive. It will be displayed with your group name on the LittleYell website. Your group name might be shhsvbb and your title might be Sunny Hills High School Varsity Boys Basketball.
From your mobile phone
You can create a group right from your phone. Simply text CREATE groupname to 90909. If your groupname is already in use, we'll suggest a similar name for your group and let you try again.
